Halloween in Bandera 🎃 is always a treat, and 2024’s Nightmare on Maple at the Bandera City Park was no exception! Families from all around came together to enjoy a night of trunk-or-treating, a bounce house, face painting, pizza, a lively costume contest, and exciting door prizes.
Heritage Oak Rescue joined the fun with our very own booth and trailer decked out in spooky (and a little silly) Halloween décor. We created a festive photo booth where guests could snap pictures with our rescue horses, all dressed up in their adorable Halloween outfits. The horses loved the attention and made everyone’s night extra special.
Of course, no stop at our booth was complete without grabbing a festive goodie bag and saying hello to the herd. Events like these remind us why we love being part of the Bandera community—bringing joy, creating memories, and sharing the mission of caring for rescue horses.
