Alejandra has been influential in what Heritage Oak Rescue has become today. She has taught me, and many others here, how to connect with the horses. Connection goes deeper than accomplishing a task or meeting a training goal with a horse. It's about seeing them, and being seen. It's something that needs to be felt and experienced. Alejandra has a deep compassion for horses and people. "How can I help you?" she always asks and genuinely means it. When teaching, she is able to put the horse first but still make the lessons engaging and fun!

Alejandra, thank you for sharing your knowledge. That gift will keep on giving to the horses for years to come as we continue to practice and pass on what we've learned. Happy Birthday!
